How to Make Banga Starch (Swallow)

1. Prepare the Starch:

Take a quantity of Banga Starch (which is a fine, white powder) and break it up in a non-stick pot. 

2. Add Water and Palm Oil:

Gradually add water to dissolve the starch, stirring until it's smooth. Then, add a small amount of palm oil to give it a yellow color. 

3. Cook and Stir:

Place the pot over medium-low heat and begin stirring continuously. As the mixture thickens, continue to press it to the side of the pot and fold it until it becomes a smooth, shiny, and silky mass. 

4. Serve:

The starch is ready to be served hot with Banga soup or other Nigerian dishes.
