Organic Whole Grain Oat

Oat fufu is a "swallow" food, meant to be eaten with various Nigerian and West African soups, such as: 

• Okra soup
• Egusi soup
• Ogbono soup
• Vegetable soup (Efo Riro) 

Instructions:

• Blend the oats: Pour the oats into a blender or food processor and blend until they become a fine, smooth powder (oat flour).
• Cook the mixture: Place a saucepan on medium heat, add the water and bring to a boil. Gradually stir in the blended oat flour.
• Stir continuously: Mix vigorously until the mixture thickens and forms a smooth, dough-like consistency. This process usually takes only a few minutes.
• Steam (optional): For a smooth result, you can add a few drops of water to the dough, cover the pot, and let it steam for a short while.
• Serve: Mold into a ball and serve immediately with your favorite African soup or stew.
